Who knew there would be antique airplanes at the Royal Wedding in London? We were not about to get up at 1 in the morning which is when the coverage began here in California... but when we got up on Friday morning, we turned on the TV to see what we could see....
So go figure... the first thing we saw was the newly weds on the balcony with that Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane doing a fly past! And Mark says, "OK, I've seen the best part of the whole show!"
It was fun to see the Tornados and the Typhoons too, but we do love those antique airplanes! Any time you can see a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight... it's a good day. Antique airplanes at the Royal Wedding.... lucky couple! Hope they're as happy as we are.
Find 'em, See 'em, Fly,'em! And have a great flight!
